Boise State football returns to The Blue this Saturday for the annual Spring Game, giving fans their first look at the 2025 Broncos and an early sense of what to expect this fall.

Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. inside Albertsons Stadium, and while the on-field action will be a scrimmage, the day offers much more than just football. From a fan-driven tailgate competition to postgame on-field autographs and youth performances at halftime, this event continues to be one of the most interactive moments of the offseason.

Here’s everything fans need to know ahead of Saturday.

Admission and Game Setup

Admission is free and open to the public — no ticket is required for general stadium seating. Due to ongoing construction in the North End Zone, all gameplay will be directed toward the south end of the field.

Stadium gates will open at 12:30 p.m. through Entry 2 and Entry 3, located on the southeast and southwest corners of Albertsons Stadium. Players will take the field at 1:30 p.m. for warmups and individual drills, followed by the full scrimmage.

Parking and Tailgating Details

Parking is free and first-come, first-served in all standard campus lots, with lots opening at 11 a.m. The West Stadium Lot is reserved for VIP pass holders, while the East Stadium Lot and other areas are open for general use.

The East Lot will also host the Legends Tailgate Competition, a judged event beginning at 11:30 a.m. where fans can show off their tailgate setups. Categories include Best Decorated, Most Attended, Best Dish, and Best Overall. Entry is $50 and includes a double-space tailgate spot.

Winners will be selected by a panel of former Bronco greats, including Daryn Colledge, Brock Forsey, Matt Paradis, Kekaula Kaniho, Riley Smith, and Jared Zabransky. Prizes include signed items from head coach Spencer Danielson, pregame field passes, game tickets with upgraded experiences, and more.

Premium Viewing: Legends Club and Stueckle Sky Center

For fans seeking a more elevated game day experience, there are two premium viewing options.

The Legends Club will open at 12:30 p.m. inside the Allen Noble Hall of Fame. This all-inclusive hospitality lounge offers snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, a cash bar, patio views of the game, and early access to the field for postgame autographs. Tickets for the Legends Club are $50 per person.

Premium seating in the Stueckle Sky Center — including suite, loge, and club seats — is also available. Current season ticket holders for the Sky Center had priority access, and remaining seats are now open to the public. Fans interested in purchasing these seats should contact the Bronco Athletic Association at 208-426-3556.

Youth Clinic Performance at Halftime

During halftime, participants from the Spring Spirit Squad Youth Clinic will perform on the field. The clinic was open to children ages 4–14 and included two hours of instruction from Boise State’s Spirit Squad coaches and athletes. Registration closed April 12, but the performance will remain a featured part of the Spring Game atmosphere.

Postgame Autographs on the Field

Following the scrimmage, fans are invited to join the Broncos on the field for an autograph session. After a 20-minute cooldown period, players will be available for signatures. Each fan is allowed to bring one personal item to be signed, along with the official Spring Game poster.

Final Notes

The Spring Game offers an early opportunity for fans to reconnect with Boise State football ahead of the fall season. With construction reshaping parts of the stadium, new players competing for roles, and Bronco legends returning to take part in the festivities, the day blends football tradition with fan-focused fun.

We’ll be on site throughout the day capturing photos, covering key takeaways from the scrimmage, and tracking the full experience from the field to the tailgates. Whether you're watching from the stands or following along online, Saturday marks the beginning of the next chapter for Bronco football in 2025.
